Collins Stewart Wealth Management (CSWM) has poached a trio of stockbrokers from Barclays Wealth.

Tony Akrasi, Andrew Little and Turon Miah, who have been at Barclays Wealth for five, six and seven years respectively, will join CSWM’s London advisory desk, reporting to Symon Hawken, head of wealth management.

Neil Darke, chief executive of CSWM, said: “One of the recent industry themes is the growing demand for advisory services from clients who want to take a more active involvement in the management of their assets, so growing our capabilities is a natural next step.

“A strong advisory offering has long been a core element of CSWM’s client-centric proposition and we are pleased the team felt we offered a supportive and engaging environment for them and their clients.”

CSWM manages and administers some £8.1bn of assets on behalf of over 9,000 clients through its offices in London, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and Geneva.
