Fairbairn Private Bank has created two new senior management roles to help steer the company through "macroeconomic headwinds".

Jon Evans has been appointed head of business development after eight years at Fairbairn and he will be responsible for promoting the bank's investment services to both new and existing clients. He has over 23 years' experience in the private banking sector, having worked in Hong Kong, Jersey and the Isle of Man.

Cameron Walker is now head of the relationship management teams and will focus on developing client relationships and managing their long-term financial goals. He has been with Fairbairn in Jersey for nearly 10 years.

Greg Horton, managing director at the company, said: "Despite the macro-economic headwinds facing global markets, our growth remains strong and these senior roles for Jon and Cameron will play an integral part in steering the company through the challenges ahead."
