Channel Islands-based compliance and regulatory financial services support provider Active Group has announced two senior appointments at its Jersey office.

Mark Hill, who has more than 20 years of experience working with domiciled entities in Jersey and the Cayman Islands, has been promoted to managing director of Active Services (Jersey) Limited.

According to the firm, he has an extensive knowledge of fund and corporate administration, and previously was responsible for all operational and client services as director of Gartmore Fund Managers International Limited.

Paul Le Quesne is appointed new business director for Active Group, and also as director of both Active Corporate Services (Jersey) Limited and Active Services (Jersey).

Active Group chief executive officer Wayne Bulpitt said the company continues to grow and now offers key services in five leading offshore finance centres: Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, Malta and Cayman.

“It is essential, and a core part of our business ethos, to employ leaders in their field," he added.

"These appointments reflect our commitment to delivering exemplary compliance, corporate governance and regulatory support services to our clients.”
