Isle of Man-based AML Global Solutions has launched a zero-cost multi-jurisdictional QROPS.

Evolution QROPS, which the company says has no initial or ongoing costs, aims to combine asset management, life wraps, tax advice, estate and succession planning as well as providing administrative support for clients.

A spokesperson for AML Global Solutions said: “Clearly the fact that Evolution delivers a zero cost QROPS structure to the client is a very compelling proposition. We are delighted to have included many unique features within the structure and this will set new standards for investors and provide a welcome boost to the QROPS market.”

AML Global Solutions said Evolution brings together established names within the QROPS arena, incorporating names with “focused specialisms” in order to deliver a common theme of independence.

AML Global Solutions is part of the Knox Group of companies which is based in Douglas on the Isle of Man.

I take it that AML is still expecting to make a profit from this - so presumably there are commissions bieng paid. I think it would be helpful if there was more transparency here - this is journalism not advertorial isn't it?

Mark and "Advisor" thank you for commenting. You have raised a fair point. We did in fact ask AML this very question when we originally discussed the product but they, understandably, did not want to immediately release their intellectual property for fear of replication. However, I can now confirm that the fees – QROPS trustee, adviser commission etc – will be generated from the discretionary asset management service which is part of the Evolution QROPS.

Rather than just printing advertising, as above is, a journalist would have wondered how it is possible to provide a QROPS for free. We all know how, and it is just another way to hide renumerations. Follow the money, find the motivation. But how good is it really for the client?
