3 May 2017
The Waldorf Hilton, London
International Adviser will again play host to the Product & Service Awards on 3 May at The Waldorf Hilton, London.
These prestigious awards are for firms that offer cross-border products and services for advisers with international and/or expatriate clients.
This event boasts a unique proposition within the field as the Awards are judged and selected by a carefully balanced blend of industry experts and leading international financial advisers.
Each category has a lead judge, a recognised independent expert in the field, who has worked with the International Adviser editorial/awards team to draw up a shortlist in their area of expertise. That list is then submitted to the Financial Adviser Panel for review. The Financial Advisor Panel is made up of leading advisers across all the major domiciles and jurisdictions.
Dan Kemp, Head of investment and portfolio management, Morningstar
Neil Whittaker, UK lead partner for financial services, Bearing Point
Peter Le Beau, Managing director, Le Beau Visage
David White, Partner, QROPS Bureau
Bob Swarup, Principal, Camdor Global
Mark Battersby, Editor, International Adviser
David Worsfold, Director, Worsfold Media Services
Financial adviser panel:
Tim Searle, chairman, Globaleye
Tarun Khanna, chief executive, Nexus Group
Sam Instone, chief executive, AES International
David Pugh, director, The Fry Group, Singapore
John Westwood, managing director, Blacktower Financial Management Group
Paul Stanfield, chief executive of the Federation of European IFAs (FEIFA)
A shortlist for the below categories will be drawn up by the lead judges and submitted to the Adviser Panel for ranking:
- International Fund Management Group of the Year
- International Platform of the Year
- International Bank of the Year
- International Health Insurer of the Year
- International Retirement Provider of the Year
• Investment Strategy
- International Financial Centre of the Year
- The International Adviser Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution
This year two categories will be open to entry by any firm working with advisers internationally and providing products and solutions in the fund management, platform, banking, health or retirement planning spheres. They will be assessed by the lead judges and the Adviser Panel.
You can submit an entry for:
International Adviser Support Initiative of the Year
A marketing, technical support, service or administrative initiative that helped advisers develop or expand their client base, break into new markets or improve retention levels. Key features of the winning entry will include innovation and clear evidence of success for both the firm and the advisers it works with.
International Product Innovation of the Year
Any product launched since January 2016 for distribution through international advisers, wealth managers or financial planners that has generated significant levels of new business or opened up new markets. A winning entry will be able to demonstrate how the product was innovative, delivered competitive advantage and provided solutions to advisers and their clients.
To submit an entry for either of the above two categories, please email your entry over to Amber Bates on firstname.lastname@example.org. Entries can be up to a maximum of 1000 words with supporting material optional. Any questions surrounding this, please contact us on +44 (0)20 7382 5980.
‘of the Year’ covers the period from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016, so where performance is part of the criteria the judges will be looking for exceptional performance over that period and where the award is for a new service or product it should have been launched since then.
Announcement of the Winners
The winners will be announced on the evening of 3 May at The Waldorf Hilton, London in front of an elite group of VIP attendees from across the industry.
Attendance to the Awards is by invite only, for further information please contact Kate Childs-Carlile on email@example.com or telephone +44 (0)20 7382 4479.
