£379bn advice tech provider integrates pension switching firm

By Will Grahame-Clarke, 28 Aug 18

Back office system teams up with Selectapension

Fintech

Fintech firm Intelliflo is to integrate its operations with software group Selectapension, as part of an agreement to share services.

As a result, subscribers of Selectapension’s pension switching program will be able to move and store existing client reports on Intelliflo’s Intelligent Office system.

In return, Intelliflo’s subscribers will be able to access Selectapension’s pension tool from within their back-office system.

The integration will also see the launch of a new app at the start of September.

Intelligent Office supports over 2,300 firms and over 21,250 users. Selectapension, which provides a range of pension and investment planning tools for financial advisers said it handled 45,000 pension switch cases over the past 12 months and boasts 3,000 subscribers to its switching tool.

Selectapension managing director Andy McCabe said the business would look to add more features if the move onto the ‘Intelligent Office Store’ is well received.

In June, Intelliflo was acquired by investment manager Invesco and, as of 1 July 2018, reported assets under advice of £379bn (€417bn, $488bn).
