Hudson will strengthen the Aberdeen-based asset manager’s digital platform, allowing clients more comprehensive access to information on the firm’s range of products in reaction to what Aberdeen described as an evolving investment environment.

He arrives from Charles Stanley Direct, where he held the position of managing director after moving from Chartwell Group in 2011, and is currently on gardening leave.

“We are pleased to welcome Rob to assist in strengthening digital communications with our clients,” an Aberdeen spokesperson commented.

“The investment environment is evolving. RDR and annuity reform both mean we have to be more relevant and focused as a group to end customers – both in how we communicate and our how we express ourselves digitally.”
