Neuberger Berman joins forces with Fideuram over Ucits funds

By International Adviser, 21 Mar 16

Investment manager Neuberger Berman has announced that it will team up with Italian private bank Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo as part of a move to offer its Ucits fund range to more than 5,000 Fideuram clients.

The fund range, which consists of Ireland-domiciled funds, currently invests in equities, fixed income and liquid alternative strategies.

Dik van Lomwel, head of EMEA and LatAm at Neuberger Berman, said: “This is a key milestone in our strategy in Italy, which is a very important market for us.

“We are delighted to be extending that relationship now to become a fund provider to their extensive distribution network.”

Paolo Molesini, chief executive at Fideuram – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, said: “The partnership agreement with Neuberger Berman allows us to further strengthen the quality of our product range and is an important step in our ongoing search for value both for private bankers and clients.”
