ATSG launches £100k ‘quick cover’ service

14 Sep 11

ATSG Funds has launched a quick cover service, exclusively for FEIFA members.

ATSG Funds has launched a quick cover service, exclusively for FEIFA members.

The product, which does not cover any pre-existing conditions and therefore needs no underwriting, is available to clients aged between 18 and 65, who reside in “included jurisdictions” and who do not partake in hazardous pursuits or have a hazardous job.

John Ferguson of ATSG said the product had been launched following feedback from the international adviser community.

“Traditionally, arranging life cover abroad can be a long drawn out process which often puts off both the life assured and the adviser,” he said. “This facility now allows cover for those living abroad to be effected in the time it takes the post to deliver the contract, and without any need for medicals or other such underwriting.

“This could be especially useful for people who have recently moved abroad and are looking to have cover in place whilst they organise things like doctors which could then enable a more traditional policy to be written.”
