By Kirsten Hastings, 24 Nov 15

Mark Richards has joined JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) as a strategist in the global multi-asset solutions group.

Mark Richards has joined JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) as a strategist in the global multi-asset solutions group.

London-based Richards, along with the existing members of the global multi-asset solutions strategy team, will be responsible for determining global economic and asset allocation strategies for both institutional and retail clients.

He will report to John Bilton, global head of multi asset strategy, who said: “Mark’s depth and breadth of expertise in equities research and his macro-economic background will further enhance our capabilities. He will work closely with the team on formulating macro thematic insights that inform our asset allocation views.”

Richards was previously a senior vice president at PIMCO, which he joined in November 2014, with responsibility for equities macroeconomic research.

Prior to joining PIMCO, he was a director at Credit Suisse where he covered asset allocation and global equity strategy.
