PEOPLE MOVES: Abacus, RL360°, Coutts

By Kirsten Hastings, 29 Mar 18

Abacus has recruited from Globaleye, RL360° has bolstered its Latin America sales team with an Old Mutual Group alum and Coutts’ has parted company with its head of key client coverage more than three years after a sexual harassment investigation.

Abacus Financial Consultants

Lewis Greene has joined Abacus in Dubai as recruitment director, having previously worked at IFA firm Globaleye in a similar role.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Greene moved to Dubai to join Globaleye in April 2014, having previously been managing director of SGL resources, a retail banking recruitment specialist in England.

RL360°

Nicolas Tiscornia has joined the RL360° team in Latin America from Old Mutual Group’s former regional distributor Aiva, where he spent four years in sales.

His experience spans time as a financial adviser, in treasury, payroll and the private banking environment.

A Uruguay-native, Tiscornia is based in Montevideo and, as regional sales manager, will cover the southern corner of the continent, from Peru down.

He will report to Leon Sears, RL360°’s head of sales for Latin America.

Coutts

Coutts’ head of key client coverage Harry Keogh exited the private bank on Tuesday with immediate effect, weeks after a sexual harassment investigation against him became public.

His departure follows revelations that the bank refused to sack him despite a 2015 investigation uncovering reports of lewd comments, unwanted touching and heavy drinking.

Keogh joined Coutts in 2009 having run the RBS/NatWest private banking division. He was promoted to managing director for London in 2011 with responsibility for the professionals, executives and sports & entertainments clients groups, although it is understood he ceased working with professionals and executives after the 2015 investigation.
