Allianz unit launches security services for globally mobile

18 Apr 16

International health and life insurance firm, Allianz Worldwide Care, has launched a security and risk management service for companies with globally-mobile employees and organisations that operate in high-risk areas.

International health and life insurance firm, Allianz Worldwide Care, has launched a security and risk management service for companies with globally-mobile employees and organisations that operate in high-risk areas.

The company, a division of Allianz Worldwide Partners which itself is part of the Allianz Group, said it had teamed up with crisis management firm red24 to provide the services designed to help pre-emptively mitigate security risks to businesses, employees and their families, wherever they are in the world.

The new services include the provision of detailed country risk assessments, an ability to pinpoint the geographic location of employees during a crisis, and the organisation of ‘meet and greet’ and ‘check-in’ security services when staff are travelling in high-risk locations.

Crisis management

Alexis Obligi, director of sales and marketing at Allianz Worldwide Care, said: “These services are designed to meet the needs of global organisations for whom it’s impossible to predict when and where a crisis might occur.”

“With the ever-present threat of natural disaster, civil unrest or terrorist activity, real-time information about potential risks has never been more important. Our service enhancements are designed to give our clients a comprehensive range of solutions to ensure the safety and well-being of their workers,” he said.

Allianz Worldwide said the security features of the service have been reinforced through the partnership with red24, which will provide access to a global network of expert security specialists, who produce real-time destination risk reports and analysis.

“Our full range of corporate assistance and risk management solutions includes a fully integrated health, travel, security, occupational health and employee assistance programme,” Obligi said.

Allianz Corporate Assistance Services are supported by multi-lingual, 24/7 emergency support and on-the-ground assistance. Clients are offered the flexibility to select the services and support they require.
