Canaccord Genuity WM names David Muncaster for newly-created international distribution role

By Editorial Staff, 1 May 24

He will cover UK distribution, Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man and oversee the international sales in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies has promoted David Muncaster from his current role as head of distribution to the newly-created position of group head of distribution.

He will cover distribution across the UK as well as Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man and oversee the international sales team, which covers Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Before joining Canaccord in 2021, Muncaster (pictured) spent over six years at Bordier & Cie working in sales and marketing. Muncaster also spent nearly six years at Close Brothers Asset Management and over three years at UBS Wealth Management.

David Esfandi, CEO at CGWM UK, said: “David has made a fantastic contribution to the business. With his deep experience in distribution, he has played a pivotal role in our growth strategy.

“His new role as group head of distribution will help us to continue to develop the best structure for success and consolidate our position as one of the leading wealth management firms in the UK and Crown Dependencies.”
