Mike Batey is leaving his position as director, life and pensions at IOMA, International Adviser has learned.

International Adviser has learned that Batey will leave after working for the wealth manager since February 2006.

He has held a variety of positions in the fiduciary services industry since 1992.

The move comes after the Isle of Man-based group announced a raft of senior management changes in February.

Philip Scales was promoted to group chief executive from his role as managing director, while Chris Kenning was promoted to chief financial officer and Julie Haslett became group head of compliance.

Rupert Cottrell, whose experience includes four years as a director of former UK financial regulator the Financial Intermediaries, Managers and Brokers Regulatory Association, and Ken Watterson were also both appointed as group non-executive directors. They both now sit on the risk, audit and remuneration committees.

IOMA manages over $8bn of funds for affluent private clients, UK and international IFAs, private bankers, professional firms and tax advisers looking for tax-efficient products and services. It provides an international perspective on tax affairs, wealth creation and development, and retirement planning.
