Clients will continue to receive services from their current advisers

Apt Wealth Partners has bought Melbourne-based financial advice firm Semaphore Private for an undisclosed sum.

The firms will combine under the Apt Wealth Partners brand.

The acquisition will see James McGregor continue as Apt Wealth Partners managing director, with Semaphore Private staff joining its Melbourne office.

Semaphore clients will continue to receive services from their current advisers.

With over 30 years’ experience, Apt Wealth Partners has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong, and currently manages over A$1.5bn (£779m, $1.01bn, €920m) in client funds.

It offers a range of services; including superannuation and investment, self-managed super funds, expat advice, wealth protection, estate planning, aged care and home loans.
