Collas Crill is expanding its London office bringing lawyers there for the first time to provide international legal advice direct to the financial services, private wealth and e-gaming markets in the capital.

The Channel Islands-headquartered company said two senior lawyers will work from the Bishopsgate, London office from December “bringing specific offshore legal expertise to supplement the firm’s relationship management function in the UK”.

Collas Crill managing partner Jason Romer said: “We are placing specialist lawyers closer to our key clients and intermediaries in London as we continue to expand our international business.

“This allows us to respond even more rapidly to client needs, particularly where face-to-face discussions are required, and to work more closely with London firms doing business in Asia through our office in Singapore.”

The London office is the company’s second outside the Channel Islands, following one in Singapore which it opened in 2011.
