US in the news: Wealth Enhancement Group buys Florida firm

A round-up of people moves and M&A deals across North America

M&A

Wealth Enhancement Group

The independent wealth management firm has acquired Integra Capital Advisors, an independent registered investment adviser (RIA) company.

Integra has two locations in Florida and oversees $287m (£220m, €262m) in client assets.

People moves

Wealthspire Advisors

The independent investment adviser firm has named Heather Flanagan as managing director and head of family office services.

Flanagan joins Wealthspire from Rockefeller Capital Management, where she was managing director and head of trust fiduciary and family office services.

Stratos Wealth Holdings

The wealth manager has promoted Michael O’Brien to director of national sales.

He joined Stratos as managing director in 2016.

Orange Bank & Trust Company

David Dineen has joined the bank as senior vice president, director of wealth services.

He most recently served as senior vice president, market manager at Republic Bank.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management

The wealth manager has promoted Katia Friend to market president and director of client strategy for New York Tri-State region, Stephanie Giroux to market president for Westchester and New Jersey, and Andrew Borner to market president for Greenwich, Connecticut and Garden City, New York.

They each report to John Ippolito, regional president, New York Tri-State region.

Premier Wealth Advisors

Edward Mally has joined the firm as a portfolio manager and investment adviser representative.

Prior to PWA, Mally was managing director and head of institutional research for Imperial Capital.

Raymond James

Financial advisers John Clower and S Reed Grant have joined the wealth firm.

As part of the move, the advisers join Wasatch Capital Management of Raymond James, which operates offices in Cottonwood Heights and Park City, Utah.

Clower and Grant both arrive independently from Wells Fargo Clearing Services.

Also, financial advisers James Domgard and Christopher Domgard have joined from RBC Capital markets.

Together, the duo operates as Capitol Private Wealth and is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

RBC Wealth Management

The wealth manager has hired Ryan McHugh as senior vice president – financial adviser in its Bend branch.

McHugh joins the firm from UBS.

The McHugh Investment Group also includes two support staff members: registered client associate Nona Coleman and senior investment associate Jordan Freund.
