PEOPLE MOVES: Fidelity International, Ballards, Value Partners

Investment manager names China managing director, as UK firm bolsters private client operation

Fidelity International

The investment firm has named Helen Huang as managing director of China.

She will head the asset management company that has been set up with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).

Huang joins Fidelity from Hwabao WP Fund Management, where she was most recently the chief executive.

Ballards

The UK-based accountancy firm has hired Krista Woodman as tax partner and head of private client.

Woodman was previously director of private client tax at Smith & Williamson.

Value Partners Group

David Townsend has been named as managing director of Emea business at the asset manager.

Most recently, he was advising Alderwood Capital as head of investor relations.

FIM Capital

David Bushe has been named as investment director at the Isle of Man-based firm.

He joins from Ravenscroft, where was a director.

Tilney Smith & Williamson

The wealth management and professional services group has named Lynne Blakey as a director in its Bristol office.

She will work in the firm’s advisory consulting practice within its professional services division.

Blakey previously worked at KPMG.
