By Robbie Lawther, 28 Jul 22

CEO will continue with company as founder steps down

Sydney-headquartered Aitken Investment Management (AIM) confirmed the investment team has agreed to acquire the family shareholdings of founder Charlie Aitken.

Aitken will step down from his role at the company.

The investment team, which will continue to manage AIM’s funds, includes:

  • Etienne Vlok – chief investment officer and co-portfolio manager;
  • Daniel Gerdis – co-portfolio manager; and
  • Andrew Strasser – senior analyst.

Chief executive Les Andrews will continue with the business.

In due course, the company will be rebranded as Constantia Investment Partners.

Vlok said in a statement: “The investment team are humbled to take the baton from Charlie to lead the company, and to continue stewarding the capital our investors have entrusted to us. We all wish Charlie well for the future.”
