Founded in 1913, Edwin Coe is an 88-lawyer firm that has grown from a litigation-focused practice to offer much wider range of advice areas including specialist cross jurisdictional tax matters such as the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF).
One of the partners, Frank Strachen spent many years working in offshore jurisdictions advising offshore service providers and their clients over challenges from HMRC. He also has more than 20 years’ experience in tax dispute matters.
Regularly quoted in International Adviser, he was actively involved in pre-launch consultation programmes with HMRC in relation to the LDF, Swiss/UK Bilateral Tax Agreement and the Contractual Disclosure Facility.
