genii capital opens in geneva

12 Apr 12

International investment management and financial advisory firm Genii Capital has launched a new office in Geneva, Switzerland.

The company, which is within the finance division of The Genii Group, said the new office will be headed by Christian Frampton, who has worked in Switzerland for more than 20 years within the private banking, asset management and financial services sectors.
Genii Capital said opening the Geneva office is in keeping with its strategy to grow its “distinguished global network”, whilst maintaining the ability to make “quick executive decisions”.

It added that the office will focus predominantly on providing services to existing Genii Capital projects and will make use of the city’s reputation as a leading financial centre for asset management and renowned market place for oil and gas trading to explore for new business opportunities.

The company was founded in 2008 by Gerard Lopez and Eric Lux who commented: “The opening of an office in Geneva is an important landmark for Genii Capital as we continue to expand our global network.

“Having a presence in eminent financial centres, such as Geneva, is critical to our growth philosophy and will further strengthen our current business activities in every sector.”
