fund advisers europe opens madrid hub

By Mark Battersby, 21 Aug 13

Fund Advisers Europe has opened a hub office in Madrid for its expanding wealth management team in the Iberian Peninsula.

The office is being designed also to enable Fund Advisers Europe to continue to expand the Latin American operation via a Madrid based call centre.

Director David Cooper said: “In this part of the world (Iberia and Latin America) languages are obviously key for both these operations and also the help of good quality local available man power.”

The hub team in Madrid is already now overseeing wealth managers based not only in Spain’s capital city but also Valencia and Malaga.

International Adviser reported earlier this year that the Luxembourg-based advisory firm hired well-known ex-deVere exec Spencer Lodge to head up a new Dubai office, and that recruitment was also taking place for an office in Panama.
