Jupiter Asset Management has opened a representative office in Zurich, Switzerland.

Jupiter Asset Management has opened a representative office in Zurich, Switzerland.

The new office, which will be headed by Evelyn Lederle as senior sales manager, extends the reach of the company’s continental sales team which is led from Munich by European sales director Martina Guenzl.

Jupiter said the opening of the new office “reflects the growing demand” for its products from professional buyers in Europe – including private banks, fund of funds, family offices and wealth managers – following the opening of the Munich office in 2010.

Kevin Scott, executive director international at Jupiter said: “The opening of our Munich office in 2010 signalled Jupiter’s commitment to extending our presence in the region.

“Evelyn’s appointment and the opening of our new representative office in Zurich is an important step towards growing our business in Switzerland. We see the careful and considered expansion of our international business as absolutely crucial to Jupiter’s overall business strategy.”

Lederle was previously responsible for the key asset management accounts at Clariden Leu AG and has over 10 years’ experience in international financial services, having previously worked at DZ Privatbank and Robeco AG.

Jupiter has been developing its Jupiter Global Fund Sicav since 2007 and now has 14 funds available, including portfolios managed by some of Jupiter’s highly-regarded fund managers such as Alexander Darwall, Philip Ehrmann and Miles Geldard.
