Our name was inspired by the remarkable life of the Frankfurt-born, 17th-Century scientist, adventurer and artist, Maria Sibylla Merian. Often described as “the woman who made science beautiful,” as a polymath, Merian embodied the multi-faceted approach we take to investment. With no centralised investment process or chief investment officer, our investment teams are free to pursue their own, proven strategies.
