Vieira replaces Dara Lutes who left in October to join a Jersey-based marketing and advertising agency after two years in the role.
Vieira began his career at Jersey Telecoms in 1998 and was later head of marketing for the JT Group of companies for three years until 2008. After a time as a director of a Jersey based public relations and media training agency, he was most recently business development manager at the Jersey Trust Company.
The appointment is Jersey Finance’s first significant hire since it announced in November its London representative Clive Boothman would leave at the end of December.
