Morningstar appoints new director

Morningstar Investment Management has announced the recruitment of a new director of UK intermediary sales.

Morningstar Investment Management has announced the recruitment of a new director of UK intermediary sales.

Mark Watson joined the firm at the end of last year and will be based in the London office, reporting to Morningstar UK’s sales vice president Paul Malone.

He will oversee the intermediary sales operation for the Morningstar OBSR managed portfolio facility, a discretionary service for the UK adviser market.

Watson arrived from a three-year stint with Brooks McDonald, where he was head of sales for the company’s fund business.

Prior to that he held positions with Zurich Intermediary Group, Barclays and SHUAA Capital, gaining a total of 17 years’ experience.
