ACE said Lam will spearhead development and operations of the company in Hong Kong, formulating corporate strategy, and lead new business expansion to ensure sustainable growth in the local market.
He will report to Kevin Goulding, regional president, ACE Life in Asia Pacific.
Lam has more than 18 years of insurance experience in Asia and his most recent role was chief executive/country manager, China, and senior vice president for business development, Southeast Asia with an international insurer.
Lam also held senior management roles at various leading global life insurers in Hong Kong and China.
