Pearson will start in the newly created role from 24 March and collaborate with ACE Life country teams across the Asia Pacific to lead all the bancassurance and alternative distribution strategic initiatives.
He will be based in Singapore and report to Kevin Goulding, regional president, ACE Life in Asia Pacific.
Pearson has more than 30 years of sales experience in the life insurance industry. He started his life insurance career in the UK, holding regional sales directorship positions with increasing levels of responsibility at various insurance companies.
He moved to the Asia Pacific region in 2003 and has held several senior bancassurance and distribution leadership roles in Singapore and Indonesia at various global leading life insurers, the company statement said without naming the firms.
Last week, ACE Life named Allan Lam as the Hong Kong country head.
