Fairbairn Private Bank has made two new appointments to its board of directors as it plans to increase growth and innovation in 2012.

Craig Blenkinsop, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, who is based in the bank’s Isle of Man office, has been with Fairbairn Private Bank for over seven years. He is currently head of operations and finance.

Steve Fox joined Fairbairn Private Bank in 2002 from SG Hambros and is currently head of the Jersey office and head of treasury. He has over 27 years’ experience in the finance industry, primarily in the treasury environment.

Greg Horton, managing director of Fairbairn Private Bank, said the appointments “will provide invaluable strength to the bank’s strategic team through these challenging economic times”, adding that the bank is positioning itself for further growth and innovation in the future.

As well as offices in the UK, Isle of Man and Jersey, Fairbairn Private Bank has banking services available through specialist teams of staff in its South African and UAE representative offices.
