15 Aug 12

Zurich-founded asset manager Adveq has opened an office in Hong Kong, its third in the Asia region.

Zurich-founded asset manager Adveq has opened an office in Hong Kong, its third in the Asia region.

The company was founded in 1997 and has been active in Asia since opening an office in Beijing in 2008, followed by an office in Shanghai last year. The new Hong Kong office will be headed by David Seex.

Adveq chief executive Sven Lidén said: “The opening of our Hong Kong office broadens our footprint in the region and demonstrates the importance of Asia to the firm’s future plans. The new office will be an important part of our global offering and is evidence of Adveq’s continued successful growth.”

Adveq specialises in investing in private equity and “real asset” funds globally. As well as those in Asia, the company has offices in Europe, North America and a representative office in Sydney.
