AES expands in Dubai with two new hires

28 Oct 15

AES International has expanded its Dubai office with the appointment of two new salary-based advisers.

AES International has expanded its Dubai office with the appointment of two new salary-based advisers.

The financial services firm said the new hires are part of a wider drive by AES International to export the professional standards and high quality of advice found in the UK to other parts of the world.

The new staff members are Lisa and Stuart Ritchie, a married couple that have joined the company from the UK where they had been working as a private banker and chartered financial planner, respectively.

Lisa Ritchie was formerly at Adam & Company in Aberdeen, where she worked for almost three years – most recently as a private banker.

Stuart Ritchie joined from Anderson Anderson & Brown Wealth, where he was a financial planner.

AES International chief executive, Sam Instone, said: “We believe these are the type of advisers that expatriates should have access to – those who fully understand the advice they are giving and who can provide expert professional help.”

Headquartered in the UK, AES International is regulated to provide advice in 36 countries across Europe and the Middle East. It employs around 150 financial professionals, and had assets under management of £500m as of 31 December last year.
