The American Century US All Cap Growth Fund will be managed by chief investment officer David Hollond who specialises in US Growth, mid and small cap equities alongside portfolio manager Michael Orndorff.
They use a combination of quantitative and fundamental analysis in their search for companies with growing revenue streams and positive price momentum. Their strategy is to invest in companies that, over the long term, demonstrate stock price movements that follow growth in earnings and revenues.
The fund mirrors a mutual fund it already runs that is only available for sale in the US that has historically been 60% to 80% biased to large caps. This Sicav will invest across the cap sizes rather than have an overly large cap weighting.
Chief client officer Michael Green said the fund launch is part of the firm’s promotion activities across Europe and the Middle East.
