Ascot Lloyd sets up adviser platform

By Robbie Lawther, 9 Mar 23

As part of the IFA firm’s digitisation strategy to make financial planning more accessible

Independent financial adviser firm Ascot Lloyd has partnered with tech firm SS&C Technologies to launch its own adviser platform.

The platform aims to improved user experience for clients and advisers that offers a consolidated, real-time view of their account holdings, key information and latest documentation. It also will look to streamline the management of portfolios, providing a range of financial planning tools and investment options for advisers and clients.

SS&C will provide integration with Intelligent Office, Ascot Lloyd’s back-office system, delivering an end-to-end digital solution that improves access to financial planning.

Steven Lloyd, investment director at Ascot Lloyd, said: “We are delighted to have worked with SS&C to launch our platform, and establish a material footprint in the platform space which is transforming wealth management by making processes more efficient and creating better relationships with clients. Our move into the market sits firmly as part of Ascot Lloyd’s ongoing digitalisation strategy, making financial planning more accessible and easier to navigate for clients.

“Our platform has been built with four simple principles in mind: competitive pricing, customer service excellence, client functionality and usability. We are confident that our proposition delivers in each of these areas beyond the market norm. Combining our in-house service team with SS&C’s technological infrastructure will provide clients with a paperless solution by default, fit for the times.”
