New data has revealed the most generous asset managers in terms of salary – so how much exactly does a director, VP, associate or analyst across Europe actually get paid?

We have to thank our American cousins for some of these job titles. An associate position can cover a variety of roles within asset management, across marketing, sales or investment.

The top-paid staff with ‘associate’ in their job title work at Goldman Sachs, Vanguard, BlackRock, UBS Asset Management and Credit Suisse on salaries ranging from £55,000 to £62,000 with an average bonus of £17,000.
