austrian am launches gbp share class

Raiffeisen Capital Management has launched sterling share classes for three of its emerging markets equities funds as it looks to expand its presence in the international market.

The Russia Equities, Eastern European Equities and Emerging Markets Equities funds have now been issued in GBP tranches. The funds also have reporting status in the UK.

The move comes in response to client demands to purchase fund shares in their own currency, and the firm anticipates an increase in sales as a result.

The performance of the three funds over various time periods is shown in the chart below.

Raiffeisen Capital Management is an Austria-based fund manager with around €32bn in AUM and a market share of nearly 20% in investment funds. It is part of Austria’s largest banking group.
