Paul Whittaker, who was based in Aviva’s Dubai office, is understood to have left the company about one month ago, although no official announcement has been made.
Aviva has had a presence in the United Arab Emirates since it entered into a strategic partnership with UAE-based insurer National General Insurance in October 2009. The policies issued in the UAE are insured by NGI and are administered by Aviva.
