He will report directly to Rob Bailey, head of UK sales for Axa IM, and will be responsible for the sale of products across the group’s "multi-expertise model" to both discretionary and wholesale clients.
Rumary was previously a regional investment sales manager at LV= Asset Management which recently transferred its range of retail funds to Threadneedle, with only 14 LVAM staff moving with the mandate.
He has nine years’ experience in the asset management sector and started his career at Fidelity Investments.
His main role will be to build relationships with fund of funds personnel, family offices, discretionary wealth managers and IFAs.
