Capital Platform International, has unveiled a new proposition to increase the ease and efficiency of investing in alternative products.

The UK-based firm has enhanced its research and due diligence undertaking by visiting companies and conducting account checks, as well as working with providers to ensure their products are well presented and promoted.

This includes ensuring firms conform to regulatory requirements enforced after the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review.

The service also offers specialist professional indemnity cover, which Capital Platform believes is of increased importance for intermediaries in today’s market.

By bringing products and distribution together in one place, the director at Capital Platform Darren Beddard, said the firm can offer “an innovative proposition [which] aims to make life easier for product providers wanting compliant distribution”, while also offering support to advisers and intermediaries.

He said: “This not only saves advisers time and money, but it allows them to concentrate on their own core services, providing investment, financial planning and tax advice.”

Advisors and intermediaries can register on the platform free of charge.
