Pacific Asset Management bolsters senior team with two hires
Pacific Investments group has hired former HSBC multi-asset portfolio manager Will Bartleet and Deutsche Bank’s former global head of risk factors Louis Cucciniello to help build up its newly formed multi-asset business, Pacific Asset Management (PAM).

Value Partners has poached the chief executive of Prudential’s Asian investment arm, Eastspring Investments. Standard Life Investment has named a head of investments, with Nordea Asset Management replacing its outgoing chief executive.

Italian insurer Generali has appointed a country manager for Italy and named a group chief investment officer. Ravenscroft has a new group managing director, while Old Mutual Wealth is to bid farewell to a company veteran.

Swiss Life’s chief executive for Switzerland is to depart next year, with his successor already identified. Columbia Threadneedle has also named a chief executive, tasked with covering Emea and asset management. Legg Mason’s head of UK sales is set to depart, with a search underway for his replacement.

US asset manager Oppenheimer targets EMEA with Dublin Ucits
New York-headquartered asset manager OppenheimerFunds, has named former Alliance Bernstein director Doug Stewart to spearhead distribution across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for its newly launched Ireland-domiciled Ucits platform.
