Chene to head Ignis distribution

Claude Chene, global of global distribution, is the latest senior appointment at Ignis.

Claude Chene, global of global distribution, is the latest senior appointment at Ignis.

Joining in October, Chene will report to Chris Samuel, Ignis’ chief executive, and will have responsibility for all of the group’s global distribution activities. Chene will also sit on the Ignis board.

In the past 18 months the group has made a number of new additions to its team in an effort to strengthen its offerings.

Among the appointments made are: Chris Fellingham as CIO, Tim Roberts as COO, Mark Lovett as CIO of equities and Michiel Timmerman as managing director and CIO of Ignis Advisers, Ignis’ multi-manager business. In addition to the hires Ignis has also experienced a number of departures including sales and marketing director Jonathan Polin who exited the firm in early June.
