To offer eligible students the option of sitting CISI exams during their course

The Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has collaborated with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) to become an accredited CISI Partner University from September 2023.

The collaboration means that ARU students studying the following degrees will be offered the opportunity to study for and sit CISI exams during their course:

  • BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance;
  • BSc (Hons) Banking and Finance;
  • BSc (Hons) Business and Finance;
  • MSc Accounting and Finance; and
  • Finance MBA.

The CISI qualification available to the students will be the International Introduction to Investment and the Level 3 Introduction to Investment.

Eligible students under this collaboration will also have opportunities to study an accredited programme to enter the annual CISI Global Educational Trust Awards.

Kirsty Crosby, CISI head of education development, said: “The university is a strong advocate of professional qualifications and I feel as though the students are going to be well supported to embark on this fantastic opportunity.

“Our CISI Educational Trust programme will complement students’ academic studies and give them a competitive edge in the world of work.”
