By Mark Battersby, 3 Jul 14

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management is to rename its investment products under the 'Deutsche' label to align with its global identity.

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management is to rename its investment products under the 'Deutsche' label to align with its global identity.

The DWS Invest and DWS Invest II mutual funds, which are distributed internationally, will be renamed Deutsche Invest I and Deutsche Invest II by the end of August 2014, subject to regulatory approval.

DWS products which are distributed in Germany are not affected by the name change.

But from Q4 2014 and into 2015, other countries in the Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific regions will be renaming regional products according to the new standardised approach.

In the US, all DWS and DWS RREEF mutual funds, DWS variable insurance portfolios and DWS branded closed-end funds will be renamed 'Deutsche' on August 11, 2014.

At the same time, all db X-trackers exchange traded funds in the US will be renamed 'Deutsche X-trackers'.
