By Mark Battersby, 25 Sep 12

Swiss Life in Luxembourg has appointed Loïc le Foll to head its private clients unit.

Swiss Life in Luxembourg has appointed Loïc le Foll to head its private clients unit.

Le Foll, who joins from Lombard International Assurance, will be based in Luxembourg and will act as deputy to Beat Reichen, the CEO in Luxembourg.

In this role, Loïc le Foll will be managing most of the activities in the business with high net worth individuals that Swiss Life is providing from Luxembourg, including responsibilities for business development, sales and operations.

Loïc Le Foll has 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has held a number of senior positions. Most recently he was with Lombard International Assurance for six years where he was running the Private Wealth Solutions department.

Joining Loïc’s unit as head of business development is Stephen Cotter, formerly head of business development at Lombard International Assurance.

These appointments are seen as part of Swiss Life’s strategy to strengthen Luxembourg as the European competence centre for the private placement life insurance (PPLI) business.
