Earth Resource and Investment Group (ERIG) has released details of its Earth Gold, Earth Energy and Earth Exploration funds. The three are sub-funds of Plurima Funds, an Irish-regulated Ucits umbrella fund managed by European and Global Investments Limited.
Each of the sub-funds has been created thanks to Ucits IV rules that allow the creation of feeder funds. The three feed into Earth Gold (or Energy or Exploration as appropriate) Fund Universal Investment which are all German-domiciled, managed by Universal Investments and advised by ERIG.
ERIG is a fairly new entrant to the UK market, and is a specialist in investment in listed companies and physical metal ETFs in the natural resources sector. This latest offering has an underlying exposure to precious metals; oil, gas and coal; and, broadly-based natural resources respectively.
