Eastspring Investments, the asset management arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, has appointed Nathalie Lou as head of retail sales in Hong Kong.

Lou will be responsible for the development and execution of retail and wholesale distribution strategy focusing on banks, financial advisers, and platforms.

Lou will report to Koh Hui-Jian, head of retail sales, who is based in Singapore.

Most recently, Lou was senior vice president, head of sales and client services at Macquarie Funds Group, responsible for the distribution of funds in the Asia-Pacific region. She has also worked for ING Investment Management and Franklin Templeton.

"We are particularly pleased that Nathalie is rejoining the organisation having worked for us several years ago. Lou’s strong business acumen and experience in fund management will be a real asset to the team," Koh said.

According to Koh, Eastspring has grown to become one of Asia’s largest asset managers and is expanding its sales footprint beyond the region.

"Lou will play an important part in building a strong Hong Kong sales business as part of those continued expansion plans," Koh added.
