Ex-Capital AM financial planner launches advice business

By Robbie Lawther, 2 May 23

He was also previously at Standard Life

Elliot Smith has launched London-based independent financial planning business Wealth Spring.

Wealth Spring’s core offering will focus on entrepreneurial clients who need ongoing financial planning and investment advice.

Smith, founder of Wealth Spring, is a chartered financial planner. He started his career in the financial planning sector with Standard Life in Edinburgh, before joining Capital Asset Management in London initially as a paraplanner and latterly being promoted to an adviser.

He said that he is passionate about building long-term meaningful relationships with his clients.

Smith added: “Wealth Springs driving motivation is to partner with our clients and act as a trusted adviser throughout their lifetimes. Supporting them from the nascent stages of their business to help them achieve financial freedom. Our industry is ever-changing, and we plan to fully embrace and take advantage of technology to help deliver an outstanding service to our clients.”

The firm is looking to take on “like-minded financial planning professionals” to offer advice services to more clients.

Wealth Spring is a trading style of Sense Network Limited.
