The six will be sub-funds under the Wells Fargo Worldwide Fund Sicav and include US and emerging market equity and bond strategies alongside one precious metals fund.
Wells Fargo AM runs $445bn globally through 35 portfolio management teams across what is now a total of 13 funds available to UK, European and Asian investors, the first of which was launched in 2008.
Andrew Owen, executive vice president, Wells Fargo AM, comments: “We believe further expansion into the European asset management marketplace, which has an approximate market size of $2.9trn and a growth rate markedly faster than that of North America, is the logical next step for our growing international fund lineup.”
