FEIFA announces two new members

29 May 14

Minden Advisers and Crystal Financial Solutions have both announced their membership of the Federation of European International Financial Advisers (FEIFA).

Minden Advisers and Crystal Financial Solutions have both announced their membership of the Federation of European International Financial Advisers (FEIFA).

Crystal Financial Solutions is managed by Kevin Eves and serves clients throughout Spain and the UK.
Minden is based in Cyprus and run by Caroline and Jeremy Shearman. It serves clients throughout many areas of Europe and Africa.

FEIFA chief executive Paul Stanfield said his organisation will become increasingly useful to companies over the next few years as Europe experiences significant changes due to regulation. “Our ability to keep our members informed in this regard will be hugely important to them,” he noted.

“In addition, the work that we do to assist our advisers in the area of professional development and training will extensively help them meet the ever-growing CPD requirements that this legislation will impose on them.

On top of its new members FEIFA also confirmed that Cyprus-based FAA Insurance and the UK’s Mark Dean Wealth Management have re-joined after a short hiatus.

Stanfield recently became the Secretary General of FECIF, a Europe-wide trade association representing the rights and interests of around 230,000 advisers and intermediaries of all nationalities. FECIF is very active in assessing new legislation and lobbying for relevant and appropriate regulation.

Earlier this week, global investment manager BlackRock joined FEIFA’s partnership programme, with Stanfield describing the pairing as the “soft-close” of its partnership programme to investment houses.

“This completes our affiliations with all of the asset management heavyweights,” he said. “The investment-related affiliations agreed in the last few months, allied to those already in force, now cover all of the major bases for our members.”

FEIFA is a non-profit trade association for English-speaking advisers based or operating on the European mainland. It has 37 member companies operating in more than 25 countries across the Continent.
