Financial adviser finalises London acquisition

It’s the first acquisition in three years for the Leeds-based firm

Financial adviser and wealth manager The Private Office has bought SRLV Financial to expand its business into the capital.

SRLV Financial is the wealth management division of SRLV Accountants, an independent accountancy firm based in Mayfair.

This is the first acquisition for the financial adviser since 2016, and the second acquisition it has ever made. It previously bought PQR Financial Planning three years ago, adding 11 advisers to its headcount.

Founded in 2006, SRLV Finance focuses on advice in the music, media, entertainment, hospitality and corporate sectors.

Its six members of staff, two of which are qualified financial advisers, have already moved into The Private Office’s London premises.

“The SRLV Financial deal strengthens our London presence and creates a platform for further growth,” said Stuart Phillips, chief executive of The Private Office.

“Our immediate plan is to grow The Private Office organically through the quality of our wealth management advice, but we are open to discussions with independent firms if there is a good fit, professionally and culturally.”
