Financial services provider makes 2nd acquisition of 2020

By Robbie Lawther, 3 Sep 20

Deal will expand the firm’s private wealth operation in France

IQ-EQ has acquired Paris-based accountancy firm Conseil Expertise & Synthese for an undisclosed sum.

This is the firm’s second deal of 2020 and it expands its funds, corporate and private wealth service offering.

Led by its principal, Jean-Noël Servans, and three other senior partners since 2010, CE&S offers accounting, tax, payroll and corporate secretarial services to a range of fund managers, entrepreneurs, corporates, and high net worth clients.

The deal will result in the creation of a 75-person strong business in France.

The CE&S business will be integrated with its existing businesses in France, however it will initially retain its existing brand identity.

Bolster offering

Bruno Noyon, managing director of France at IQ-EQ, said: “France represents a key strategic growth market for the group and the acquisition of Conseil Expertise & Synthese leaves us extremely well positioned to take advantage of the significant market opportunity available.

“The fact that this acquisition has completed despite the current global challenges evidences just how strong our commercial focus and commitment are.”

IQ-EQ employs a global workforce of over 3,000 located in 23 jurisdictions.
